RUSSELL'S METEOR PAGE

Here you will find links to images of meteors that I have collected over the years. Photographic recording of meteors is surprisingly difficult since the meteors are generally short-lived and, unless very bright, there is little time for the light to record on the emulsion. At times it seems that the meteors appear everywhere in the sky, but never in the direction where the camera is pointing! Anyway, with perseverence and lots of luck there is success now and then.
