Healesville Sanctuary An hour and a half drive north east of Melbourne, the Sanctuary's highlights are many, including pairs of the extremely rare Helmeted Honeyeater and the Orange-bellied Parrot, which are assisting in the preservation of these critically endangered species. The bird show is highly recommended and the admission was well worth paying for an excellent day out.
