Comet C/2006 A1 (Pojmanski) was
the first comet to be discovered in 2006. During late
February-early March it was a conspicuous binocular object in the pre-dawn
eastern sky as it moved through Capricornus. On the 28th it was close to the
naked eye double, a Capricorni.
Here's a view taken against the stars of
Capricornus.
